On Thursday the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against an anti-gaming group was made.

The Ohio Roundtable was trying to challenge OH Governor John Kasich gaming expansion proposal. The gaming proposal allows for the state's horse tracks to operate video slot machines.

The lawsuit was first filed in fall 2011. It involved the Ohio Lottery Commission, the state tax commissioner, the Ohio Casino Control Commission, and Gov Kasich.

The group argued that the gaming expansion was illegal since the voters did not have a say. The court ruled that the gov acted within his rights.

The decision by the court was unanimous stating that the group does not have legal standing. Therefore they can not proceed.

It is possible that the group may appeal the ruling.
