The new $47 million expansion to the Four Bears Casino and Lodge is expected to
be completed on time. It is also expected that the project will be able to
remain on budget.
Recently information on phase one of the project was announced by general
manager, Patrick Packineau. The previous event center is being converted into a
grand ballroom. A new event center is being built along with new meeting rooms.
There will also be a slot machine gaming room for visitors that wish to smoke.
The new grand ballroom will be able to host a variety of events depending on the
client. Events can include night clubs, sports bars, or weddings. Plans are
already being made for rodeos, powwows, concerts, and sporting events.
The expansion is scheduled to be completed in July.
