The design plans for the proposed $640 million Nevele Resort, Casino and Spa will be presented at a news conference on Thursday. A developer group is interested in a possible casino location in the Catskills.

The presentation will take place in Ellenville. A village in Ulster County.

The proposed casino location is just over an hour north of New York City. It would replace the old Nevele hotel. Plans include a luxury resort offering 446 guest rooms. There will also be a golf course and rooftop pool. As well as ski hill.

There are currently four casino licenses available for New York. There has a been a lot of interest showen by developers that want to obtain those licenses. All proposals must be submitted by June 30.
