NEW YORK CITY - The NY Daily News reported the Shinnecock tribe is
submitting a bid to the city to build a $1.4 billion gaming palace at
Aqueduct Racetrack. As an further incentive, the tribe included a
provision to a promise to drop its fight to build a casino on its ancestral
lands in Southampton.
The proposed gaming facility would feature a million-square-foot casino
with 10,500 slots, 350 gaming tables and 12,000 employees. The tribe would
