When asked to indicate where they have gambled in 2013, New Jersey is the most
frequently mentioned destination (44%) followed by New York (36%) and

Atlantic City for their gaming excitement. When not playing in AC, more than a
third (36%) cross state lines and can be found playing in Pennsylvania.
New Yorkers have many casinos from which to choose located throughout the state,
but when not gambling in state, a third (34%) travel to Atlantic City.
Among Connecticut and Pennsylvania residents, they too overwhelmingly play
within their respective states but also choose Atlantic City as their second
most visited destination to gamble.
