A new gaming area has opened at Harrah's Resort. Located at "The Loft", guests will be able to enjoy six new blackjack tables. Located on the second level of the dome covered pool, this is an area of the resort that has never had gaming before.

The area opened last Wednesday, however Saturday is the scheduled grand opening. Scheduled to appear is Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. The music mogul will make the official first bet for The Loft's grand opening celebration.

When the pool was originally opened in 2009, it was used for swimming during the day and hosted a popular night club in the evenings. The pool is covered by a glass dome that is 90 feet tall. This makes the area climate controlled.

The pool area was given gaming regulation approval for the blackjack tables. Harrah's Resort Atlantic City was the first in the area to expand is gaming to areas outside of the casino floor.
