ST. LOUIS - The new Lumière Place Casino opened its doors to casino patrons
wanting to see inside the $507 million casino built by Pinnacle Entertainment.
Droves of visitors are expected in the next few weeks to come see what the
casino offers and whether they find it exciting enough to return.
The Lumière Place Casino hopes to grow the market in St. Louis by attracting
conventions and other visitors from out of town. Their 200-room Four Seasons
luxury hotel will open in early 2008. It will be connected to America's Center
and the Edward Jones Dome by an underground tunnel.
Other St. Louis-area casinos are also seeking to expand the market:
Return to Missouri Casinos.
