Mississippi Gaming Commission has awarded a gaming licensee to Full House
Resorts. The company is acquiring the Silver Slipper Casino in Hancock County.
Full House Resorts has a history of being a stable company. This gave the
Mississippi Gaming Commission confidence that the company should be able to
maintain the casino.
Full House Resorts has also proven the financial backing that will be needed to
operate the Silver Slipper property.
The Silver Slipper was opened in 2006. The gaming complex operates 26 game
tables, a poker room, around 1,000 slot and gaming machines, live Keno, and is
37,000 square feet. The casino also has a variety of dining options. These
include a buffet, quick service food, and fine dining.
Full House Resorts will official take over the Silver Slipper Casino on October
