The Mississippi Band of Chowctaw Indians have not had an increase of gaming revenues. However, they have remained steady.

This was reported by the Choctaw Gaming Commission, which met on Thursday with the Mississippi Gaming Commission. Specific figures were not provided, however it was noted that gaming on the NeShoba County reservation has been stable for several months. This information was provided by Choctaw Commissioner Angela Denson. Choctaw casino operations are not regulated by the state.

Currently the Golden Moon Casino is only open on the weekends. Hotel hours have been extended to operate from Thursday to Monday. 570 workers were laid off in January and an additional 40 in March of last year.

Silver Star Hotel and Casino, the tribes first property, have not been affected by lay offs.
