A meeting will be held in Springfield on Monday between the Indian Orchard
Citizens Council and MGM Resorts International representatives. The meeting will
be in regards to ballot Question 3.
The public is invited to attend. It will be held at 7PM at the Myrtle Street
The ballot question is based around allowing Massachusetts to allow for casino
gaming. Three casino have been approved to be developed in the state previously
by legislature. However, if Question 3 is approved, casino gaming would be
illegal in the state.
Springfield approved an MGM casino to be built in July 2013.
