On December 8 the MGM Grand National Harbor casino is scheduled to open. Before that can happen, a controlled demonstration test needs to be passed twice.
Each test will take 8 hours to complete. The first test will take place from noon until 8PM on Thursday. The test will be over seen by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.
The test will make sure that the games are being operated properly and that the correct payouts are given. Both slot machines and tables games will be reviewed.
On December 2 from 2PM to 10PM the second test will be conducted.
If both tests are passed, the casino will receive a license and be able to open to the public. The license could be received by December 6.
