KINDER, LA - The Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana have recently updated their Coushatta Casino Resort by replacing more than 500 slot machine with newer models. There are now operates 2,850 slot machines, including 1,300 penny slots.

"With the new technology arriving in today's gaming industry, we felt we needed to change out our older slots and bring in more of the newer machines. Coushatta Casino Resort now features the best selection of the newest interactive games in the region," said Warren Davidson, Director of Slots.

The changes include a new non-smoking area named the Circus of Slots. It is a tent located in the back part of the casino that features 670 slots and a snack bar.

"Many of our guests have been asking for a smoke-free area to play slots and we are committed to providing the best guest service for our players," said Phil Ziegler, Director of Marketing. "We'll be the only casino in the region to cater to both smokers and non-smokers."

Coushatta Casino Resort also features 70 table games, a 22-table live poker room, 500 hotel rooms, 6 restaurants, and a golf course.
