A report by the American Gaming Association was released showing that Kansas
commercial casinos have had a large increase in their revenue. The report stated
that the casino revenue was up 603%. Making it the largest growth in the
In 2012, state casinos earned over $37 billion. That was the second highest
record for the state. The highest was in 2007.

Last year, Kansas was one of four states to open new casinos. The others were in
Maine, Maryland, and New York.
Casinos owned by Native Americans were not included in the report.
