After one month of operation the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City has
reported earning $7.2 million in revenue.
The new casino replaced the Argosy Sioux City casino when it closed in July
after it was court ordered to close.
25 game tables and 839 slot machines are in operation at the Hard Rock. There is
also a 30,000 square foot casino floor.
4.25% of the revenue earned from the Hard rock is given to the Missouri River
Historical Development nonprofit. The money is then distributed to local
charitable groups. A total of $304,000 will be given to the group.
