Hoosier Park Racing & Casino in Anderson, Indiana, will open its new casino to the public at 9 a.m. Monday, June 2nd, pending regulatory approval. The racino is located 20 minutes north of Indianapolis off Interstate 69.

The new casino facility is a single-level, permanent, 92,000-square-foot casino complex, which features 2,000 slot machines, a high-limit area, a player's club, and a martini bar.

"We're creating a unique 'wow' for our customers with the latest in gaming technology," said Jim Brown, general manager of gaming. "Our facility is a seamlessly integrated gaming and entertainment destination."

There will be nine new bars and restaurants including:

  • Prime Harvest Buffet (full-service buffet)
  • Homestretch Clubhouse Dining
  • Homestretch Steakhouse (premier steakhouse)
  • Johnny Rockets
  • Terrace Café featuring Starbucks coffee, two specialty bars (Pegasus Lounge and Double R Bar) and full cocktail service
  • Fast food dining outlets Mambo Italiano and Big Deli (24-hour New York-style delicatessen)
