Seminole Gaming Celebrates 30th Anniversary of Bingo at Seminole Casino -
Hollywood with Multi-Property Bingo Event
PRESS RELEASE
Hollywood, FL - When Seminole Casino Hollywood opened its doors in 1979 as a
bingo parlor, it pioneered the Native American gaming movement. To celebrate its
30th anniversary, on Sunday, December 13 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Classic will
host an unprecedented $1 million prize Seminole Satellite Bingo Game that will
be simulcast across six Seminole Casinos via intranet. The other participating
casinos are: Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hollywood; Seminole Hard Rock
Hotel & Casino, Tampa; Seminole Casino, Immokalee; Seminole Casino, Coconut
Creek; and Seminole Casino, Brighton. Early Bird tickets for the event go on
sale Friday, November 20 at each casino.
"We have come a long way since the first Native American high stakes bingo hall
opened 30 years ago right here on U.S. 441," said Jeffrey Hook, senior vice
president of marketing for Seminole Gaming. "This will be a really fun way to
celebrate with our many customers throughout the state both the success of the
tribe and the many winners we continue to make."
The buy-in of more than 30 games will cost $95 for early bird tickets, $110 day
of the event. Tickets can be purchased beginning Nov. 20 at each casino. Tickets
will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis based on available seating at
each casino. Players will play at the location at which they've purchased their
ticket only, and must be 18 or older to participate; identification will be
required. No refunds will be given once a ticket is issued.
The Super Jackpot Million Dollar Bingo Game will consist of one "cover all"
game. The first person to successfully cover all of the spaces on their card in
48 numbers or less will win the $1 million grand prize. If no participant fills
their card in 48 numbers or less, a $50,000 prize will be awarded to the first
participant to fill their card in 49 or more numbers. Prizes are subject to
verification by the prize provider and will be paid once authenticity is
verified. In the event of multiple winners, the prize will be divided among the
number of winners and shared equally.
The purchase package includes 30 games that will pay out $2,500 each, and one
Super Jackpot for the million dollars. Additional jackpots will be available for
purchase on the day of the game. There also will be two additional "specials"
available for purchase for from $2 to $5 that will pay out from $2,000 to
$10,000. In all, more than $160,000 will be paid out, guaranteed, for the day.

About Seminole Gaming In addition to its two Seminole Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos
in Tampa and Hollywood, Fla., the Seminole Tribe owns and operates five more
Seminole-branded Florida casinos in Coconut Creek and Hollywood on the Southeast
coast, in Immokalee near Naples, on the Brighton Reservation north of Lake
Okeechobee and on the Big Cypress Reservation south of Lake Okeechobee. The
Seminole Tribe has long been recognized for innovation in its gaming and other
businesses. It opened the first high-stakes bingo hall and casino in the United
States in 1979. That facility was the forerunner of the Indian Gaming movement
throughout North America.
The Seminole Tribe of Florida acquired Hard Rock International, Inc. and other
related entities from The Rank Group Plc in 2007 for approximately $965 million.
The purchase is the first of a major international corporation by a Native
American Indian Tribe and marks a milestone in the growing economic power and
prominence of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and other Indian tribes in today's
business world..
