A new restaurant chain owned by Native Americans is breaking ground.
The Arooga's Grille House and Sports Bar is owned by the Mohegan Tribe. The
restaurants will be located in New England.
The tribe also owns the Mohegan Sun Casino. The new chain is a way to diversify
and enter other markets for business.
The first location is scheduled to open next year in March. It will be located
When completed, it will be 9,000 square feet. The restaurant will have a sports
memorabilia collection, and over 100 televisions. There will also be a tap room
that will have 40 choices of beer. Both domestic and craft. As well as a three
season patio for dining.
