Southern California is experiencing an increase in expansions at the Native American casinos.
Pechanga Resort and Casino Hotel will be opening the new hotel tower with 14 floors and 568 additional guest rooms. The cost of the project was $285 million to complete. Restaurants and an event center have also been added. In the Spring of 2018 a new pool complex will also open.
Remodeling plans and a new hotel tower are being planned at the Pala Casino Spa and Resort. The project will add 349 rooms and cost $170 million. Previously the casino completed a $6.1 million project for RV parking.
A 500 guest room hotel will also be added to the San Manuel Casino. They will also add an entertainment venue with 4,000 seats. As well as a parking structure with room for 2,200 vehicles. A start date for the construction has not been released. However the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians are hopeful to have the project completed by 2020.
The Saboba Casino Resort held a topping off ceremony for their new 729,000 square foot location in November . The ceremony featured the placement of a steel beam that was signed by tribal members, employees of the casino, and workers assisting in the project construction.
