The $320 million Cloverdale Casino Resort project is moving forward with plans.

The Cloverdale Rancheria of Pomo Indians is the tribe behind the casino.

The casino is in the last phase of the environmental study. When the report is completed it will be submitted for the federal Bureau of Indian Affairs. Then the BIA will decide if the casino plan can continue.

The casino will be built on 65 acres. When completed, the proposed facility will be 596,000 square feet. There will be 45 gaming tables. 2,000 slot machines. A five story tall hotel with 244 guest rooms. The hotel will also have a pool and spa. An entertainment venue that can hold 1,300 people. A convention center. A parking area that can hold 3,400 cars.

However, the results of the environmental report and market conditions may result in a smaller venue to be developed instead.

The casino will be competition to Graton Resort & Casino. Near Rohnert Park.
