Work for a new multimillion construction project is scheduled to begin September 3 at the Pechanga Resort & Casino.
The project will create 300 construction jobs.
Plans include renovations to several areas. The hotel lobby, Silk Nightclub, restaurants, and retail shopping will all undergo a transformation.
Currently the Pechanga Resort & Casino operates over 3,000 gaming machines. As well as table games, a poker room, and bingo. The hotel has 517 guest rooms.
The casino is owned by the Pechanga Band of Luiseņo Indian. The tribe is located north of San Diego in Temecula. There are 4 other casinos near by. Those are located just south of the San Diego county line.
