Friday will be the grand opening to Feather Falls Casino's new brewery. The new
smoke free expansion cost $8.5 million and in addition will feature a restaurant
and a showroom.
Wanting to bring something different to the area, this will be the first tribal
owned brewery in the United States. Producing seven different ales, guests will
enjoy brews called Feather Falls Thunder and Maidu Pale Ale. THe brewery
produces 15 barrels daily. That is approximately 450 gallons.
Representatives of the casino reported that the casino expansion will serve the
community and attract visitors from other areas.
Inside guests can feast on pizza and fresh sushi. Bands are scheduled to play at
the stage with a state of the art sound system. There are also three private
lounge areas with chairs, coffee tables, and sofas. A VIP private loft area over
looks the stage for more guest enjoyment.
The restaurant hosts 280 seats. Menu items include blackberry barbecue salmon
and prim rib. Some recipes will use the beer produced at the brewery. January
will begin breakfast service.
Monitors for video gaming are also available for guests.
The grand opening will occur this Friday staring at 4PM.
