It is a sight rarely forgotten by visitors of any age. The ballooner's preparation begins at 6:15 a.m. and lift-off is scheduled for 7:00 a.m.

After the hot air balloons have floated off into the skies over the Valley, visitors migrate across the street to the ClovisFest Arts and Crafts show. Each year over 250 arts and crafts vendors display their wares on Pollasky Ave. in Old Town Clovis between Third and Seventh Streets. Locals and travelers alike shop for handmade clothing, pottery and various locally made edibles and one-of-a-kind works of art.

After they've finished shopping, visitors to the fair are sure to stop by the All Valley Car Show. Some of the most beautiful cars in the Valley will be on display -- from vintage machines to modern-era sports cars. While prowling the multicultural food booths at the car show, travelers are free to enjoy live entertainment or take the kids to a family carnival for pony rides. The over-21 set are invited to sit a spell and relax in ClovisFest's beer garden to listen to live music and enjoy a cool refreshment.
