Palm Desert, CA (October 30, 2009) - Patrons of Southern California's Morongo Casino Resort & Spa will be some of the first in the world to experience high-speed Ethernet gaming, thanks largely to Synergy Information Solutions, which is serving as network consultant and architect for the Morongo project.

The forward-looking technology is designed to provide casino players a faster, more interactive, and a more customized gaming experience. It enables slot machines to communicate faster with the main Morongo Winners Club system, which gives customers more information about activities and events throughout the casino. It also lays down the required infrastructure for server-based gaming which many in the gaming industry view as a "game changer."

As the network specialist for the Morongo project, Synergy is working closely with Bally Technologies, a global leader in slots, video machines, and casino-management systems. Synergy is designing and implementing the extensive Cisco Systems network infrastructure that allows the casino to support Bally's advanced gaming software.
