REDWOOD VALLEY - The Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians held a formal groundbreaking ceremony for
expansion of their Redwood Valley Shodakai Casino. It was dedicated with Native
American prayer, dancing, and speeches.
The $50 million project will construct 75,000-square-feet of new gaming floor,
lounge and three restaurants. It will open in Fall 2008.
Future plans include a four-story hotel with 188 guest rooms, a 25,000 square
foot entertainment center with 1,500 seats, and a 5-story parking facility.
