Rocksino by Hard Rock in Terre Haute, Indiana is a partnership between Spectacle Jack LLC and Hard Rock International. Hard Rock International is a solely-owned subsidiary of the Seminole Indian Tribe of Florida.
The new casino will be non-smoking and feature 1,200 slot machines, 50 table games and sports betting.
The Rocksino site is 25 acres on the east side of Terre Haute. It is southwest of Bill Farr Drive and Joe Fox Street and directly south of the Walmart Super Center.
The casino license was approved by the state gaming board earlier this year. A formal groundbreaking ceremony is pending for late 2020. Construction is expected to be completed in 2022. (Last update: Oct. 3, 2020)
