5th Annual Noccalula Falls Powwow

1500 Noccalula Road, Gadsden, Alabama
Powwow will feature the Aztec Dancers of Memphis, TN
with their beautiful Regalia and tradition dancing,
appearance of John T Wayne, Grandson of the 'Duke',
author and civil war buff, Cabot Barden,
author of several books on the Native Americans,
songwriter and musician. Demonstrations of 'Flint Knapping'
and 'Flute making' and 'archery'.
Drum provided by Thunderheart Singers, enrolled in
United Cherokee AniYunWiYa Nation and flute playing
by Tom Burke of the same Tribe as Drum.
Native American dancing, children's activities,
Native American Craft vendors with their hand-made items,
concessions (Fry-Bread, soft drinks, burgers and other assorted food items).
Seating provided but umbrella is suggested due to sun.
Free parking. Come and enjoy the songs of our ancestors.

37th Annual Mt. Juliet Pow Wow

Feel your heart pound to the beat of drums,
as you experience the beauty and passion of
a Native American Pow Wow in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
Competition Pow Wow featuring Native American arts,
crafts, food, music, and dancing.
Grab your lawn chair for a great family event
to learn about the Native American culture.
Presented by Middle Tennessee Pow Wow, Inc.

Admission $5, children under 10 are FREE.
Our veterans, police officers, firefighters,
EMTs, and teachers are FREE with ID.
Native American dancing and drumming
This is NOT a competition event,
but the dancers in regalia will be able to
register for Luck of the Draw to win prizes.
Specialty, demonstration, and intertribal dances,
as well as social dances Native American craft vendors
"Native Sisters" food vendor with traditional Native foods,
bison and elk burgers, and much more.
Native flute players, storytellers, and more.

There will be a variety of Native American
entertainment throughout the weekend,
including Aztec dancers, Tlaltacayolotl "Earth, Heart, Man".
Host and guest motels to be announced soon.
There will be limited PRIMITIVE camping available,
on a first come, first served basis.
