TULALIP, WA - The new Tulalip Resort Hotel is now open for guests who want to stay and play at the Tulalip casino. This is being called a “soft opening” with a grand opening planned for August 15th. The spa, swimming pool, and indoor atrium still unfinished.

The 12-story hotel offers standard rooms with Tulalip-designed art on the walls. Larger king or queen rooms which cost $175 per night on weekends. The deluxe "themed" suites will cost as much as $5,000 a night.

"We think our resort will rank right up there with the best," said Tribal Chairman Mel Sheldon.

"Our biggest challenge is to convince people that there's this caliber of resort north of Seattle," said Brett Magnan, executive VP.
