GRAND RONDE - The Spirit Mountain Casino has opened its Cedar Plank Buffet, which it claims is the "largest buffet in Oregon".

Dishes include cedar plank salmon, prime rib and seasonal Pacific Northwest specialties. The buffet will feature 7 chef stations:
          - International
          - Pizza
          - Seafood
          - Carvings
          - American
          - Asian
          - Bakery
          - Beer & wine station (adults)

"We're always looking for new and innovative ways to present food," said executive chef Richard Burr. "A casino is 24/7; things are always changing. We have to stay on the cutting edge. This is catapulting us from feeding 1,500 people a day to well over 2,000."
