TULSA - Construction began on expanding the Cherokee Casino Resort
as the first steel beam was lifted into place Friday. The $125 million casino
and hotel expansion project will make this the largest casino resort in

1,800-seat entertainment and convention venue

Expanded Wild Potato Buffet
Expanded McGill's Restaurant
An upscale nightclub
Additional meeting space
- 21-floor hotel tower
The grand opening for the expansion will be January 2009.
