A report was released on Monday by the Ohio gaming regulators showing the state's 13 casinos earnings. In comparison to October 2014, revenues have increased.

A slight increase was reported from Hollywood Casino Columbus. The amount for October this year was $17,282. In comparison to last year, it was $17.280.

$66.8 million was earned in total at four of the state's casinos. The equaled a 5% increase from the previous year at $63.8 million.

A 3% increase was reported from Scioto Downs at $11.8 million.

$70 million was reported at the seven racinos. That number is up by 6%. The racinos offer harness-racing but do not operate any table games.

Casinos and racinos have a 33% tax rate on gaming revenue. The money is then given to a variety of groups including schools, counties, the cities that the casinos are located, and special programs.
