December showed a decrease in gaming revenues at the four casinos in Ohio. It has been nine months since the last casino opened in the state. This was the lowest reported earning since that time.

Toledo, Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati are the cities where the casinos are located.

The Ohio Casino Control Commission released their report on Tuesday. $63.2 million was the total revenue earnings. Overall this was a 9.8% decline at the casinos statewide.

In December, Ohio opened two new gaming facilities at race tracks. Both are located near Cleveland. These racinos operate terminals with video slot machines.
