For the second month in a row, gaming is down at Ohio casinos.

A nine percent decrease was reported by two of the casinos. A total close to $350 million was gambled in Cleveland and Toledo. $418 million was what was bet at the two casinos in June. However, this was also the time when both casinos were open for their first full month.

It is too soon yet to determine what the average trend will be for wagering at the casinos. More time will be needed to find the average of what the normal activity at the casinos will be.

Two additional casinos will open next year. They will be located in Columbus and in Cincinnati.
