Cleveland's casino will cost $600 million

CLEVELAND - A representative of casino developer Dan Gilbert told a meeting at
Cleveland's City Club Friday evening that the Cleveland casino project will get
a $600 million investment. The representative, Len Komoroski, Gilbert and his
partners want to insure "this is a first class destination and entity. We are
committed to investing more than $600 million here in the Cleveland casino
project."
Four possible sites for the casino were part of the Issue 3 measure that voters
passed in November. They include sites at:
1. the east bank of the Cuyahoga River behind Tower City Center 2. the W. 3rd
St. Peninsula underneath the Lorain-Carnegie bridge 3. Scranton Road Peninsula
4. Higbee building
