August 18, 2009 COLUMBUS - The Ohio Ballot Board today approved the wording of a proposed constitutional amendment to license casinos in four Ohio cities: Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus and Toledo. The ballot measure says the casinos may operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and may offer any casino games approved by Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia and Indiana in the future. Also today Gov. Ted Strickland signed an executive order immediately adopting rules for slot machines at race tracks that allow 24-hour operations and sets the minimum age to play at 18 years of age.
