Poll favors gaming constitutional amendment

October 23, 2008

If residents permit, Clinton County will be home to a single casino. A state constitutional amendment is on the ballet for voters to decide on next week.

Survey USA polled residents about the proposal. 62 percent are in favor. 31 percent are against it. 7 percent are undecided.

Ohio voters have voted against casinos in the past. The referendums were overwhelmingly denied. However now it is likely the proposed amendment will pass.
