BUFFALO – Cochise Redeye, the new Chairman of the Seneca Gaming Corporation, will not speculate on the future of the Buffalo Creek Casino.
Construction was halted last summer on the new casino for economic reasons, and given the current financial crisis, Redeye is not optimistic about resuming the project.

"If the Gaming Corporation could go out to market right now and get a bond to build I believe the council would tell us to build. We just haven't been able to do that," says Redeye.

In December, the Gaming Corporation laid off 210 employees from their three casinos in the area.

The Seneca Gaming Corporation officially named Redeye as chairman two weeks ago replacing Barry Snyder Sr.
