Dancing Eagle Casino reopens after renovation |

December 20, 2009 LAGUNA - The Dancing Eagle Casino has been renovated during the past three months at a cost of $4 million. The casino is about 20 miles east of Grants on I-40 at Exit 108 and has been open since 2000. The renovation has added 100 new slot machines such as Belly Jumbo, Jokers Wild, Jaw's and Reel-em Win. A 10 by 10-foot slot machine is located at the entry and everybody gets a chance to pull the slot one time per day. There is also the new Café 108. It seats approximately 60 people and is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., Thursday through Sunday. Menu items include nachos, cheese steak and fry bread tacos. Other changes include a new stage for live entertainment Thursday through Sunday, big screens throughout the casino, and expanded parking with new lighting. The casino’s outside has a facelift that includes a covered walkway. Dancing Eagle Casino employs 240 people. Return to New Mexico Casinos. |
