Biloxi Boardwalk Casino and Resort proposal to be presented to gaming commission
June 19, 2012
The former Heinz pet food plant may be turned into the Biloxi Boardwalk Casino
and Resort if approved by the Mississippi Gaming Commission. The building is
located in Biloxi on the bay.
The land and building was purchased by Chris Ferrara, a local businessman, from
the Heinz company. Food production ended at the location in 2000. The building
is 185,000 square feet and on the waterfront.
Additional information will not be released until the proposed project has
approval. The gaming commission will meet in Jackson on Thursday.
