June 01, 2010A Wheel of Fortune slot machine paid out big at the Fitzgerald’s Casino in Tunica last Saturday. A 68 year old man from Jackson won $2,293,106 from the 50 cent slot machine.
The man, James Edward Smith, stated he had played $20 before he won the MegaJackpot. Smith stated the winning will go to his brother to help him build a church.
Mississippi has awarded five statewide MegaJackpots so far this year. The total winnings for 2010 so far are just over $3.6 million.
