On Thursday, Maryland's Lottery and Gaming Control Commission gave approval that
will change some state casinos laws.
State regulators gave the approval that will allow for a change in state casino
hours of operation. Maryland casinos will now be allowed to stay open 24 hours a
day.
Money lending to gamblers and ATM limits have also been changed. This was done
in part for connivance for casinos guests to access additional money.
The newly adapted gaming regulations were written with help from casino license
holders. That included representatives from Rocky Gap and Baltimore Casinos.
In November, gaming expansion was also approved by voters. The approval will
allow for the operation of slot machines and table games.
Return to Maryland Casinos.
