Casino Applications for Ford County

TOPEKA, KS – The Kansas Lottery Commission received two applications from Ford County as the deadline of December 26th passed.  They also received a request from the county for a one-day deadline extension to finish a third application from Epic Gaming of Las Vegas.

The Lottery Commission will review each proposal and negotiate contracts with each developer within 90 days. The contracts will then be forwarded to the Gaming Facility Review Board which has two months to select one for Ford County.

The Kansas Lottery Commission will own the casino but hire the developer to build and manage its operations.
