Hopeful and Concerned remain Ohio Gaming Officials
January 24 2011Small signs of steady growth have left many casino managers happy. Two of the six casinos that saw an increase in revenues belong to Wild Rose Entertainment. The Wild Rose Casino and Resort was recently approved by voters last November.
However there are still some concerns. There are possible impacts from the Illinois gaming expansion bill. Plus the lifting the state’s ban on smoking in casinos. It is uncertain how this may impact the casinos.
Under the leadership of the new Iowa General Assembly, there may be little in Iowa’s state bills to expand gaming. However, it is believed that the government does understand the impact of gaming revenues for the state.
