IGNACIO, CO - The Southern Ute Indian Tribe began construction on their new Sky Ute Casino in late 2006 with the grand opening planned for later this year. Roadwork is underway this week on Colorado Highway 172 as new pavement is being laid for turn lanes into and out of the casino property. The cost of the roadwork and traffic lights is paid for by the tribe. New casino resort features:
