Thunder Valley adds new steakhouse, live poker

The new poker room was opened last week at Thundar Valley Casino Resort. The electronic machines and vitural poker monitors have been removed. The new expansion hosts live dealers and poker chips. The poker room is located on the southwest end of the facility. Currently the capacity caps out at 80. However, by June, there are plans to accommodate up to 160 poker players.

Last week was also the opening of The High Steaks Steakhouse. The new restaurant features Kobe beef, grilled steaks, and seafood. This replaces the former restaurant, Austins Steakhouse. The United Auburn Indian Community wanted an updated and different restaurant. The menu was inspired from steak houses un Sacramento and Las Vegas.

July 1st is the scheduled date for the opening of Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s new hotel. Also in the plans to open soon is the new pool, spa, and the new concert series.
