Woman wins $1.6 Million at Thunder Valley

SACRAMENTO - A local woman, Susan Nott, won $1.65 million jackpot yesterday playing the $5 Wizard of Oz slot machine at Thunder Valley Casino.

She had a routine of leaving home early for work each day and stopping by
the casino on the way. This time her stop at the casino was a life changer.

Ms. Nott's immediate plans for her winnings are to pay off her car,
establish trust funds for her children, and buy a new car for her best
friend.

"It is such a great experience to see the faces on these jackpot winners
when they realize they have won over a million dollars," said Barry Greer, a
former casino manager. "Just to understand how much the money will change
these peoples lives is a feeling that all casino workers have experienced at
one time or another."
