CALEXICO, CA - The Manzanita Band of Kumeyaay Indians want to build a casino on 60.8 acres on the northside of the City of Calexico. The site is at State Highway 111 and Jasper Road and is bounded on the south and west by the Central Main and Dogwood Canals.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs has scheduled a public hearing to scope the issues for an environment study of the project.
